Honoring the Rescuers

Blue Sunday believes that Child Abuse Prevention Professionals deserves our full support.  Beyond the annual prayers for them and the support letter below we make time to show appreciation to our local and state "rescuers" with a variety of projects.

Letter of aprecation to share for Child Abuse Prevention Month in April:

Dear Child Protective Service Workers,

As we draw close to Child Abuse Prevention Month we wanted to be first to congratulate you on your efforts to rescue abused children.  We recognize your sacrifices and contributions.   We see the long hours, out of pocket expenses, and heartaches that naturally come from being on the frontlines in the battle to end child abuse.

For many years we have asked churches to pray for the victims of child abuse and for those who rescue them.  Millions of people have prayed for you and your young clients.  We desire to see the faith community rise up and extend to you a helping hand once they take that first step to pray.

At times when the public does not understand your efforts we hope you can take comfort in knowing that God does.  When your heart breaks for a child, so does His.  You are not alone.  We stand with you in appreciation and in prayer for all your hard work.
