Fruitful Year for Blue Sunday
ByBlue Sunday Child Abuse Prevention Initiative had a fruitful year. With help from the community, Blue Sunday was able to purchase 56 carseats and $5000 worth of Christmas gift cards for teenagers in foster care. 390 foster children and adults were in attendance for the annual Foster Family Blue Zoo Day. This Christmas we co-sponsored the Cameron County Foster Kids Annual Christmas Party. In addition, throughout the year Blue Sunday collected quilts and toys. None of our accomplishments were made alone. We are grateful for the wonderful churches, companies and individuals whose donations make our goal of bringing relief to foster children in Cameron County a reality.
